License relocation/reactivation process and service policy
Thank you for using MathMagic.
To transfer your license to another computer, please note that the license needs to be removed from the current (or previous) computer before we can provide new license code for your new computer. After successfully removing the license, MathMagic will generate a“License removal confirmation code”You need to send us this code as proof.
Please note that the total number of times you can move your license may be limited to a certain amount and only valid during your free technical support service period. Please read the current policy below.
Alternatively, if you do not meet the conditions for free license mobility, or if you are unable to remove your license from your old computer, you can purchase an upgrade. Upgrades typically include additional free license moves and issuing licenses for your new computer without previously removing the license from the licensed computer.
Alternatively, if you would like to purchase one or more additional licenses, please let us know again the number of copies you require.
#How to remove old licenses and obtain a 'removal confirmation code'
Please remove the current license from the previous computer and send us the 'License Removal Confirmation Code'.
The operation steps are as follows:

Please start the MathMagic Pro application on the previous computer.
- On Mac OS X,
Open the 'Help' menu ->; Enter the authorization code dialog box.
Press down“Option Use the 'Options' button to enable the' Remove License 'button.
- On Windows,
Press and hold the "Alt" or "Shift" key while selecting the "Help" menu ->; Enter Authorization Code dialog box.
This will enable the 'Remove License' button.
Click the 'Remove License' button and confirm.
Send us the confirmation code via email.

#Install MathMagic on your new computer
Then, install the MathMagic Pro application on your new computer. If your license allows, the latest version can be obtained here:
http://www.mathmagic.com/download/
If your license does not allow the installation of the latest version, please use your old installation program and the version allowed by your license. We do not maintain older versions on the server for more than 6 months.
#How to obtain the system ID of your new computer
Register your system ID to obtain the license code, and then register your new system ID from the new computer.

Here is how to obtain the "system ID" generated by MathMagic.
Run the 'MathMagic Pro' application on the computer where you wish to continue using the software.
From Help ->; Enter authorization code Open the authorization dialog box. (If the dialog box does not display when starting MathMagic)
Click the 'Copy' button to the right of the system ID field.
Paste it into the system ID field on the registration page mentioned above.

- MathMagic Pro for InDesign（Mac OS X，Windows）
- MathMagic Pro for QuarkXPress（Mac OS X，Windows）
Activate new license (MathMagic Pro version)
Each single user license allows 1 new license on one computer
Support license movement and/or reactivation***
During the free technical support service period, each computer/user can move or reactivate their license for free once, and must provide a previous license removal confirmation code.
You can pay $50 per year and receive additional support for license movement/reactivation once, during the free technical support service period or limited period.
If the code is removed more than once a year or without a license, higher service fees may be required. InfoLogic may require further information, such as proof of loss or damage.
If frequent requests for license movement exceed the industry average, InfoLogic may need further proof.
The MathMagic license is mobile only for the same operating system platform.
Windows license cannot be transferred to macOS, Mac license cannot be transferred to Windows.
**Subscription licenses for 2 or 6 months offer 1 license move ($50).
***Higher service fees may apply after the free service period*** For very old versions (4 years or older), license mobility may not be provided.
